INKLESS CAMOUFLAGE
No. Numbing cannot be administered prior to an inkless camouflage treatment as it causes a restriction of blood flow to the treatment area. During a treatment your camouflage artist will use blood flow indicators (such as petechiae) to gauge the depth of their needles, this ensures that your technician is working at the correct depth.
In addition, many treatment areas are too large and require large amounts of topical anesthetic to be successfully numbed. Using large amounts of topical anesthetic can potentially lead to topical numbing agent overdose.
*We also recommend that female clients book sessions with their menstrual cycle in mind, as pain sensitivity can be heightened at certain times.
Before commencing a treatment, an in-person consultation with your artist is required. During this consultation, your artist will discuss realistic treatment outcomes and provide an estimate of the number of sessions likely to be required.
Most clients require 2–5 sessions on average, however, both the number of sessions and results can vary depending on scar/stretch mark type, age, and individual healing response.

Inkless Camouflage is a specialised microneedling technique (collagen induction therapy, or CIT). It involves creating tiny, controlled channels in the skin to trigger the body’s natural healing response. Over time, this can support collagen and elastin production and can help improve the appearance and texture of scars & stretch marks.
We can start treating scars / stretch marks as early as 8 weeks after the skin has completely closed.
*For the skin to be classed as completely closed:

BROWS
That’s okay! Just send us an SMS asking what to book and we’ll guide you.
Brow stain can last up to 7 days on the skin, and up to 6 weeks on the hair. These time frames can vary depending on your skin & hair type.
*Please note that lighter coloured dyes will fade faster than darker dyes.
Please avoid wetting your brows for 24-48 hours after your appointment.
This includes...
- Skincare products
- Makeup
- Sauna's / Steam rooms
- Excessive sweating
- Showers / Bath's / Pools
If you wet your brows, don't stress! Your lamination isn't going to drop. But wetting them too soon can contribute to do hair dehydration, and it will also remove the aftercare products we applied during your appointment.
Your freshly laminated brows require time to completely absorb the hair nourishing products we apply during the treatment, so it's best to avoid wetting them for 24-48 hours.
Vitamin A–based products, including retinol, increase the skin’s cell turnover rate. This process can make the outer layer of skin more delicate and susceptible to damage. As a result, waxing skin that has recently been treated with retinol can increase the risk of skin lifting or irritation during a brow wax.
Absolutely NOT!
You cannot have any waxing or chemical treatments while you are using Accutane. You must be off Accutane for 6-12 months before you can have any waxing or chemical brow treatments.
Why? Because Accutane...
- Thins and sensitizes the skin
- Impairs skin healing
- Makes skin prone to tearing, and burns
- Increases dryness and skin fragility
*If you are using Accutane, contact your brow tech to arrange a (tweezing only) brow appointment.
Brow dye is designed to stain both the skin and the hair. Dye can last up to 7 days on the skin, and up to 6 weeks on the hair.
